It was a good day on the trail!!

I have no problem leading everyone...straight into trouble.

In all honesty I hope everyone had fun and didn't feel pressured into anything. I like it when people have fun but I definitely don't intend on getting people in over their heads.

As far as radios go, in my experience, the FRS radios don't really work all that well, CB's get us by and Ham radios knock it out of the park. Once upon a time I was juggling an FRS, a CB and a Ham in my truck while Leading runs... it was insane!

The FRS radios quickly faded out, the CBs are still there but the ham radios have really taken over among the guys that I wheel with most often.

It was also awesome meeting customers out there this weekend, I really appreciate your business and support.

I look forward to wheeling with you all again in the near future.
I also plan on doing a lot of wheeling this summer so please feel free to jump on the rugged rocks board as well with suggestions on what trails you guys what to run next.
I'll lead just about any trail in southern California with the exception of the Hammers in Johnson Valley for obvious reasons (the exception to the exception being smaller trails in johnson valley like fisher mtn and some other smaller fun stuff out there. are you confused yet?)

One more thing, I'd really like to mention SCCX and use some pictures from yesterdays run in the next Rugged Rocks e-mail newsletter if it's ok with those that took them, but regardless I'd like to see the pics vids from yesterday!!

was GREAT to see everyone and had a good time. Was really impressed with Aram's rig! Man that thing is epic. A lot of cool Nissan street machines too as well as a rare Skyline GTR. Now if I saw some picts that would complete the awesomensss!

I had plenty fun, thank you for allowing this stock vehicle in your convoy. Next time I hope to have sliders, then won't hold you guys up or take the easy route around.

I cant believe I missed that squeeze obstacle! Oh well there's always next time. It looked sweet tho, especially with that three-wheel pic of Nick's rig. Next time I'll have an upgraded radiator to deal with the overheating problem. I'll swap the supercharged model radiator right in, since it's double the size of my stock one, and I'll be out there next time with the AC on haha.

It was great meeting and talking with all you guys this sunday. Saw some familiar faces and met some new people; all of you had some great looking rigs. I wanna thank Irwin for getting us the parking spots he did, otherwise we might have got turned away. One of the highlights was definitely when we passed up that long line of 350z's to get into the parking lot

And steevo thanks for taking turns sharing lead with Irwin on the trail. Your pathy is a beast. I really thought it would be YEARS before I would even think about SASing, but now there's a good possibility I'll be attempting it next year..

here is a quick vid i just made nothing fancy and its 90% of my truck. but ill have to get a gopro cam soon. i only had my i phone with me. it might take a few more min b4 the link works.
