Awning Brackets
« on: February 20, 2016, 07:45:09 PM »
CVXterra swung by my place this morning. We whipped up some brackets with some X mounts + crap I had laying around in my garage for his awning.
I think they turned out pretty good.

We used 2" C-channel and 2" 1/8 flat stock. A little bit of hot glue and......

Attached the mounts to them and the awning......

Then onto the X

Really cool meeting Chris today. Hooked it up with In-n-Out and some brews.

Oh nice!  I was out shooting today and even though the temp was nice, the sun was out... This is a sweet setup! My list of things I need to do to the X just got longer.

Those look AWESOME! Far better than the no-weld stuff I've been seeing people do with the X-towers. You 'da man.

Cannot thank Danny enough for the time and energy. Learned a lot and had a great time. Look forward to more mods down the road! Also want to give a shout out to PainRoller, FixItGuy, and knightrider. All of you played a role in making this happen and it is appreciated!

Now I gotta get out there and do stuff!!!!! Cannot wait to test these out.

*room looks sloppy since it is not staked down or tied off anywhere
