Ok boys and girls, the next Nissan Owners Meet will be Sept. 08, 2013 at California SpeedWay in Fontana, CA 92335. More details to come. Last years Owners Meet, held at Fontana Nissan, was massively huge. The SCCX club put on a strong convoy entrance, got prime front row club display parking and we also had a great trail run up Cleghorn Rd. to end the day. Dozens of cars and entire car clubs were turned away, so this year, Scott, who is the Nissan Motorsports director at Fontana Nissan felt a BIGGER venue was needed. He was excited to have such a strong support from the offroad community last year and has asked me, Irwin (SuperSlideStyle), to see if we can get a bigger showing this year. Feel free to pass the word around. If you yould like to be in the entrance caravan fos SCCX and show off your truck in prime parking, sign up here.

I'm in!!
I love Cleghorn, but that last trail, called Trail to Hell, or something like that, I can do without.
-
That is awesome that Scott from Nissan Motorsports reached out to you! Definitely up for it - won't be anywhere near many of your rigs, but my X can play the role of budget 4x4. The first steps of the process... Like the little brother to all the massive Shrockwork'd Xterras, hehe.
-
Sounds fun. I'm in.
And Ray can't go if he doesn't do "what he called Trail to Hell" ;D ;D ::)
Come on Ray that will be fun. This time you will get to see me negotiate it. Maybe if we can get Toro out there, we can have a little timed rally down it. :P
-
I would go depending on my advancement results this year. I may be busy from August to sept 15th. So, ill have to wait and see how things are going.
-
I maybe in, too early to commit yet..
Last year's meet, with lots of pictures: http://www.sccxterra.com/smf/index.php/topic,1216.0.html (http://www.sccxterra.com/smf/index.php/topic,1216.0.html)

Posted this over on ClubFrontier. Maybe one of the SoCalFrontiers members will post on FB. I'm planning to go to both the Nissan Meet and Cleghorn run. I'm hoping the other Frontier guys will too.
-
I heard about the event.. I"m considering showing up for the show but I'd rather be wheeling :)
Will there be a more definite time that we can leave the show this year?
Last year we were stuck there and got a late start to the trail.

That would be my fault, sorry. Thex trade-off was great prime parking if we stayed till the end.
I don't know what the event hours are this year so I can't promise a run just yet or even great parking.
-
Keep us posted Irwin. Thanks ;)

As soon as I hear from Scott what the schedule will look like at the event, I will post it here and let everyone know. Last year, some of the cars were staging the night before for parking. I know because I stopped by that evening to confirm. We got PRIME PARKING ON THE DAY OF!
-
count me in!
-
It seems I won't be able to make it to the event this year. I have to fly out to Minnessota on the day off the event to start a new construction site.
**I NEED SOMEONE TO STEP UP AND LEAD THE GROUP IN TO THE EVENT THAT DAY.
That person will need to contact Scott at Fontana Nissan to so he knows who you are in advance. I will take care of the rest.

Fontana Nissan 909.574.2288 ask for SCOTT in Motorsports.

whats the word? just over a week left
-
Is someone taking over for superslidestyle or should we just wheel somewhere?
-
I have a bone stock rig but this seems like fun. Can a stock rig come or do I have to stay in the parking lot?
-
You can definitely come. ;D
I did Cleghorn bone stock and only skipped 3 side trails.
-
No one has volunteered yet. But keep in mind that this is a Nissan Owners Meet and Greet. You are all welcome there and there will be more than enough parking for everyone, even ie you're stock.
If someone led the group in, we would be eligible for group parking and club status, rather than having everyone scattered arnund. Its just a matter of gathering everyone before the event, caravaning in, and showing up as a group with a go-to person.
-
I'll be there as a vendor so I will be early but I can't lead a meet up.
