Title: New Member from the Inland Empire
Post by: 08PrerunnerX on June 19, 2013, 08:15:41 PM
Hello Everyone, my name is Nick and I am the owner of a new-to-me 2008 Night Armor Xterra 4x4. For now it's all stock but I'm going to slowly start putting money into it after I can get some money saved up. It's the first 4x4 that I've ever bought, my earlier vehicles were all prerunner type 2wds. For now the Xterra will mostly be used as a Daily Driver and a tow vehicle for my Rhino.
Well thanks for looking and hopefully will get my Xterra out on the trail someday.

It wont be much of a build thread, (And here's yet another pic of my stock Xterra. lol). Once I start throwing parts at it over the next year or so I'll get one posted up

That's why it's called a build thread  ;)

No problem about the plug, I prefer to spend my money with local/smaller businesses if at all possible. What all do you sell for Xterras?

Hopefully I'll have time to make it out on a run or even a mod day.

Welcome. I'm in Fontana myself.  The only thing you need to go offroad is your willingness to get out there and have an adventure.  The parts and upgrades will eventually come but the Xterras are trail-ready out of the dealer.

This couldn't be more true.  ;D

I got through some pretty sketchy spots on Cleghorn with good spotting and running completely stock. Stock Xterras are really capable.

Exact-A-Mundo.

Throw up some stock pictures and then like the proverbial Chia Pet...watch it grow.

Welcome Nick,
Like Adio said, there's plenty you can do stock.  Get some basic safty gear and maybe a cheap CB to make it more fun in a group, and you're good to go.  You will find all kinds of ideas just browsing this site.  Good luck, see ya soon on the trail.
