I just did a short trip to vegas and back (drove out Tuesday afternoon, came back Wednesday night) for a business trip. The Mojave Preserve area around Mountain Pass had tons of snow on the ground. It was very beautiful and made me wish I had my X and had time to play around off the highway for a bit.

Probably won't be there long, but could be a fun place to hit up. Basically all along Cima Road from the 15, and even around the cinder cones and the old Aiken Mine.

 I'd love to but I told Duffman I would be at the Mod day since I postponed the Ocotillo trip. How's the last weekend of the month on your schedule? Might even get lucky and get some more snow by then.

I can't do the 27, but 28 is open.

I want to go to Mod day, but it's not something my wife is interested in.

  If you go to mod day let's see what we can come up with there and maybe get some interest from the other guys. The 28th could work but would be a very long day because everyone has school/work the next day.
