Hey guys.
There has been talk of a pre-TMR mod day. I can open my place if we get enough interest from members in good stading (I must know you, and still like you :-*). I'm shooting for April 9th cuz our Avacado Festival is on the 16th, and city ordinance requires my attendance (FARC). Please let me know if you are interested. Newbies are always welcome with a guardian and beer >:D

I'm in............

That's my Birthday >:D
-
That's my Birthday >:D
I'll sing you Happy Birthday while you are turnin wrenches!
-
Pencil me in. I have a new rear bumper to install and could use a little help lifting it in to place. I just have to check with the
boss wife to make sure there isn't already something planned on my behalf. :)
-
That's my Birthday >:D
You and Nilda both! 8)
Now Jordan and JILL have to come >:D

Count me in!
-
unfortunately i dont know if I or more importantly, Jill will be able to make this. She has 2 big orders that weekend and she will be working on them. I may be able to sneak out a little treat if I can make it.
-
I will be there! Either with my own projects or just to turn wrenches. 8)
-
Work schedule pending...Daphne, Alex and I may try to fly by. Been too long and it would be great to share a little celebratin' with Jay/Nilda and the crew. :) :) :)
-
Hey Duffman, what can I bring along food and/or beverage wise? I'm also bringing the Chimpanzee to do the heavy lifting for the guys.
-
Unfortunately, I'll be headed to New Mexico this day or the next for work. >:(
-
I'll bring the usual cookies. 8)
-
I'm a tentative maybe!
SirJohnOfFullerton may be home from his extended travels through out Europe and the Middle East - he wants to go camping. We'll see how the timing works out.

If you're bringing the Chimp, you better bring food. We only got a 24 Cu. Ft. fridge >:D Anything is good, bucket O chicken, chips, snacks. We always have Di Gornios in the freeze.

Ok, I'll figure out something good to bring along. I agree with you that kid can eat his weight in cheeseburgers then come back for more.
-
The scheduling gods have shone their light upon me...Daphne, Alex and I will be coming by for frosting and wrenching.

That's great! Speaking of frosting, Nilda found a good Cupcake source. We're covered in cake lol
-
Gentlemen, I would love to join you but my 3 year old will be entering and winning her first bike race that day. I wish you luck and can't wait to turn wrenches with you some other day.
-
I'm bummed. Won't be able to make this one either. Next time hopefully...
-
I might join even tho I don't got nothing. Well maybe if I fix my spacers with broken studs. Maybe install the front wheel spacers and trim the fender. And install the diff cover. Yet I say I got nothing.
-
I'll be there, no projects so....lending a helping glove as needed
-
What city is this in?
-
Does anyone have a couple of jack stands I can use?
-
I'll try to make it. Hopefully my rocksliders will be here by then. I know Shrockworks is notorious for taking their time with shipping.
-

I can bring two if I go. I don't have anything to install, and would have to bring our 8 month old daughter.
Is this in Fallbrook?
-
Fallbrook, yep
-
Looks like I will have a front suspension to do next weekend. I have the new Total Chaos UCAs, PRG shocks w/#650 springs, camber bolts and the new Timbren progressive bump stops. I also still have a snorkel to install, if we run out of things to do.
-
I'll bring some chicken wings for lunch and a couple of sweet breakfast things as well.
I am helping xxSVxx with a long overdue fuse block install.

Hey Eric, I have two sets of jack stands. I might be doing my front axle seal so I will only need one.
Anyone who needs the address, just PM me. Looks like we are gonna have a great group O0

I'll bring the PBR >:D

Much appreciated sir...
BTW: there is rain in the forecast...have we considered that?

Newbie here who would like to head down and meet some fellow Xterra members! If I am allowed to come, how late do these run (I work until 3:00 that day, and I am about 55 miles away!), and what shall I bring? I meal prep, so I have my own food, but I can always bring beer or snacks or something?? I'm not quite sure how these mod days work yet lol
-
Everyone is welcome. We start at 9am and usually get done about 4 or 5ish.
SyKO, It would be great for you to meet the gang, but it's hard to say for sure how late it will go.
Sunday we have a nice run at Cleghorn, also a great chance to meet the group. The trail is wide open to all levels.
-
Dang, working weekends sucks. I work 6-3 both Saturday and Sunday, so I unfortunately will not make it to the mod day (especially if done by 4-5pm) or Cleghorn... Hopefully I can make it to the next easy trail run/mod day!

Seconding what Randy said here...
...as well as, this is really a mod day IF you have something to work on, but also a social gathering if you don't.
IME, these Mod Day's are a stop by and hang out and depart when you like affairs as well. Park on the outside periphery, as the work on trucks usually are parked up closer to Randy's house (and the tool boxes and music).
Look forward to meeting you SyKO if you can make it...I'll grab my sticker bag and left over shirts if anyone wants one.

There shouldn't be enough rain to worry about. I have a carport and tarps if anyone starts to disolve lol
It's Steves 'Scottle' that I'm woried about.
-
You won't have to worry about my skottle, I'm going to be MIA for this one.
-
If it rains were going to quickly find out who is made out of sugar.
8) :o ???
-
I'll bring the PBR >:D
PBR and jack stands, Jayrat you is one smooth vanilla brotha!

Unfortunately, I will have to back out on this. Yesterday I found out my son is coming into town for the weekend and I haven't seen him since before Christmas.

I'm glad you will get to be with your son but your wit will be missed buddy.
-
Can he turn wrenches? Bring him along for the fun! Nothing more fun than a father and son installing new front suspension together. 8)
But yes, you will be missed Tony.
-
I have 4 jack stands that I can bring along if they are still needed. I'll be there to drill out the shock bushings and put on rear shocks. Nothing too exciting. RBduffer can you PM me your address. Also if there is anything else that need to be brought as far as food or drinks?
-
I totally want to make this to meet some of ya.. However I think my father in law and I are going to change out the radiator in my Xterra.. Though I'm guessing doing it here on the wrench day would be better.. heh.
-
I have three spare 33x12.5x15 tires that I can bring along if anyone is looking for a full size spare. $25 a tire. They are Goodyear MTR's(the old style) and all have around 9-11/32's tread remaining.

Sorry Guys, the Family had a different idea for my B-Day, and it wasn't a Mod Day LOL :o
P.S. Hey Randy ,wish Nilda a Happy Birthday for me
-
5/16" is smaller than 1/4"...filed under things I said and was (thankfully) corrected by an "electrical engineer."

Thanks for having us over Randy and Nilda. The food for lunch was amazing and the kids and myself had a great time. The rear shocks feel like a big difference already. Cannot wait to get them offroad and see the rear flex to its full potential without getting limited by the shorter shocks that were on there. It was good meeting everyone today also.
-
Thanks Randy & Co.
Nice seeing everyone, and meeting you and the kids Jake.

Thanks again to Randy and Nilda for being such gracious hosts! Happy birthday to Nilda (and Jay, since you didn't get to make it :() and thank you for the amazing food. :)
And thanks to everyone who gave me a hand with the bumper install. Those bumpers are heavy and hard to handle. Couldn't have done it without the help!!! :)
-
Big thanks to the host Duffman, and his beautiful wife Nilda, who chose to hang out and watch guys wrench on their rigs on her birthday!!! What a keeper you got Randy!!!
Thanks to Eric and Riley and John and Joe and Jake and everyone else who was there....even though my job went from a fuse block install into a radiator bracket fab/reinstall, it got done and just in time!!
The food, as always, was amazing, and I'm lucky you guys let me come around!!!
-
Sorry I couldn't make it, was busy with the work thing in the morning and had family stuff in the evening. It looks like it was great!
