Title: 7.5min map source
Post by: occupantX on November 06, 2016, 05:10:57 PM
Everyone's probably using GPS now, but just in case you're that guy with a compass and map...find some free printable USGS topo maps here:
http://www.natgeomaps.com/trail-maps/pdf-quads (http://www.natgeomaps.com/trail-maps/pdf-quads)
I've heard of phone apps where one could import the maps and then use with your phone's GPS...but I forgot the name :(

Hey SanDiego Killer
"Backcountry Navigator" is what the nerds are using these days. But us old folks usually carry paper maps as back ups too.

Very nice find indeed! I prefer to use a map and compass any day of the week and saved this to my favorites.
