Three days in the driveway and I finally got it done.

Doh!

Thats better.  I ran the air hose from the compressor throught the frame as much as possible.

Nice work Mitch. Looking at the fourth picture I thought you were trying to make hot air. ;D

Thanks guys.  I still have a few finishing touches like trim around the controls and a leak that needs to be addressed but it works.  I also want to make a hose for airing up.  I don't like the Yellow Slinky Hose of Doom. It was a bit of  a challenge since nothing fit where I wanted it to (except the tank).  Now we have to wait to for a run to see if it works without burning the X to the ground. ;)

BTW, everything is ready for lockers with the exception of tubing from the solenoid valves.  I have to find the compression fittings to use with the Mac valves and the 5mm ARB tubing.  Anyone... anyone...

I just used the ARB ones.  They're only a few bucks each from 4 Wheel Parts.  Sometimes Ace or Osh has them if they have a good selection of air fittings.

Ok then.  I was going to order them when I ordered all the other stuff but forgot.  The Ace out here doesn't sell anything close to what I need.  The guys I asked were no help.  They were confused by the concept of a locking differential.

Running the air line through the frame is slick! Do you think you'll need to cover the front from dust and things, or is it good to go as is?

If you can't find any and it's holding you up, let me know.  I'm pretty sure I have a few extra that I can send you to get you going till you can pick some up.

I think it will be ok.  I won't be running it while bombing down a dusty road so hopefully it won't be plugging up the filter.  The compressor came with a filter relocation kit but I don't know where I would put it that would make that much of a difference.

That looks fantastic. WOW would be putting it mildly. All i have a plug in a cigarette light compresser which take forever to fill one tire let alone 4...  :(

That's great Mitch! You just convinced me to do the same! Perhaps one of these weekends.
