Thanks to Ray for putting together a great run!  Once we were commited to 'Hell's Run' everybody stepped up to help, and manned up to defeat it. To some it was a total rush, to others a scary challenge.  But we all came away better for it.  It's a great story for a long time.  And my story gets better every time I tell it. :D
Here's a vidio of me on the first obstacal: notice how well the ABLS stops the F/L wheel to put traction on the right.  I love our trucks :-*   And oh yeah, the Off Road rear locker is just cheating ;D
If you want good pics of your X just do something crazy enough for Justin to catch, or bring your girl.  Thanks Nilda

A lil late, but I wanna thank everyone for coming out to run the trail on Saturday. It was great seeing everybody and meeting new people.

Thanks Ray for setting up this run, Terry for his excellent spotting (especially thru the end of the hell trail), Angel and Doug and lavaX for helping with the stuck shifter situation , Randy for scouting ahead of the group, and Justin and zmey for taking pics.

And one more special thanks to Angel for letting me love tap his truck with my truck ;)
We had a good laugh about it on the way home haha.

Now I gotta get my tools gathered up cuz theyre scattered all over the inside of my truck haha. Glad I could be the guy to go to for tools on the trail B)

See ya guys in big bear.

Good to see that you're still keeping touch Steve.  It was very nice having all 'your' gear on my X.  Already scratched up the skids and the bumper ::)  The stock stuff would have been toast!

LOL!  A comedian!  Go ahead, rub it in about the ABLS, VDC, locker, cabin filters and whatnot. ::) ;D  Us 1st Gens can take it...well, sort of.  :'(   I loved the video and the comment about having a clutch and stopping on a steep hill.  More times than I care to remember, I have been in a line of Xs on a steep narrow shelf ledge when the lead truck stops for an obstacle.  Everyone following catches up to the person in front of them and comes to a halt.  I think it is a conspiracy, but I always end up stopped on the steepest part of the slope, with a major dropoff on one side and the person behind me mere inches away (might be a bit of an exaggeration).  It's a fine balancing act when it's time to move forward.  Release the brake, reach for accelerator, simultaneously press accelerator and release the clutch, with the inevitable slip, slip, slip back toward the truck behind me.  I can see it now, everyone being courteous when lining up.  Here, you go next after RockinX.  No, by all means, you go first.  :D

Sounds like you could use a tool from my drifting bag O' goodies.  Hydraulic handbrake, frees up your feet to dance on two pedals instead of three.

Ah the many reasons I upgraded to a 2nd gen, easier handbrake being one of them.  Not to mention the locker, 100 more HP and tq.  Updated suspension. Oh the list goes on and on.  Sad I couldn't make this run, had fun in Vegas.  Also made a detour on Sunday to death valley, nice place but I think I'll go back in January when its not 108
