Front Bumper
« on: February 19, 2013, 12:01:14 PM »
I am finally going to pull the trigger on a front bumper soon. I have narrowed it down to one of two choices, Shrock or Hefty. I was wondering if anyone in the South Bay area had one of these bumpers. I would like to come by and check it out in person. I would really like to see the new Hefty Fabworks in person with the hoops that follow the contour of the front end. If anyone has either and wouldn't mind me coming by some time that would be much appreciated.

This is the Hefty Fab I wanted to check out if anyone has it.

I would like to see this bumper in person as well.  I like it much better than the old hefty.

No one huh? I might just have to bite the bullet on this one and try.

I don't know of anyone in San Diego that has the new Hefty bumper.

When are you planning on buying?  If you can wait about 12 weeks, I'll have a Hefty front and rear bumper.

Was thinking about doing it very soon.

Here is another question to anyone with a drop bracket. How does the skid plate mount? I saw one picture of one that looked like it might have been sandwiched in about the drop bracket.

The Hefty Rad skid mounts to OE tow hook points so it won't interfere with a DB lift. You will lose the front diff skid but the kits come with a replacemt.
