Hello guys i was just wondering if any of you guys know were to buy good HID

with good light output i recently purchased some from downtown la area and so far disappointing. One the high beams didn't work and second one of the bulbs was burnt so i want to know if any of you guys know were to get a good pair of hids with good light output

I second the recommendation for DDM tuning. I had a total of 4 lights (2 kits - 35 watt 5000K H3 bulbs) that I was running in some cheapy Walmart "Platinum Burner" housings on a xoskel bumper mouth bracket before I installed the winch in their place. They were bright, clean, reliable and CHEAP. They held up great, although I only used them offroad so I didn't put a whole bunch of burn time on them (although I did bounce the heck out of them). They came with some nice waterproof plugs and slim ballasts that produced very little heat (I even had two ballasts mounted on top of one another). Overall a decent quality product for the price.

I paid $30 per kit at the DDM shop in Kearny Mesa. For that price, you can buy an extra kit to use for spare bulbs or ballasts if you have any issues.

depends on the application, if you are looking for HID for your headlights, follow SoCalXTerry's recommendation and do a retrofit.  It is easier than it sounds and the output is a million times better than just throwing some HID conversion bulbs into your stock halogen housings and blinding everyone with glare(dont listen to people who tell you to just aim your lights down to reduce glare, that doesnt reduce the glare, it only limits how far you can see).  I purchased my retrofit at  theretrofitsource.com and with a discount code on thenewx, you can get 20% off iirc, which makes the retrofit very reasonable.

if you are looking for offroad lights, follow LupinOne's links and use the HID conversion bulbs in the stock housings, due to the limited space a retrofit is very difficult with the stock off road lights, and since the offroad lights are used offroad, the glare is a non issue.  i run conversion bulbs in my offroad lights and am happy with the output.
