Well, I was the only one who showed up for 0317's run today, but we had a great time. It was a short trip, but was a lot of fun. And 4S21 was my first black diamond trail
There are probably only a few hundred feet along the entire trail that give it the classification of black diamond, but I'll still celebrate it. My wife and son also attended, which makes this the first time my son has come along on a real off roading adventure.
We started by airing down just after hitting the Bee Canyon turnoff from Hwy 74.

Just as we were hitting the trail, some dude on a small black scooter zoomed past us. I mean, it was SMALL. It was like a 150cc Honda or something. He rode just ahead of us about half way up Bee Canyon and was doing a really good job before he eventually turned off at Indian Creek Truck Trail (4S10).

We crawled our way up Bee Canyon pretty quickly, stopping once or twice to take in the view:

Once we hit the turnoff for 4S21, I switched into 4WD and we were off. About a half mile along, we came upon a nice section where I got some good three wheel action (photos by 0317):

A short distance up the road, we hit another good spot and 0317 got some more cool photos of me:

Unfortunately, I bottomed out my t-case on a big rock. We got out to survey the damage, and it only tore a small corner off of the housing. Nothing exposed, no fluids leaking, so everything is good (I hope):

A little further up the road, we came upon the "squeeze" obstacle. I took the bypass, which got me around it and allowed me to get some cool shots of 0317 creeping past it:

From there, we continued up 4S21 and ran through some more fun stuff:

We took a short side route over to the edge of a ridge on Indian Mountain which had a fun little rock to play on. The view from this location was also amazing. 0317 showed off his articuation on the rock. I tried by best, but only got about half way up it before my rear wheel was a foot off the ground. Made for some cool photos though!

We finished having our fun and hit the trail again, heading through some nice heavy woods before hitting the top of the hill and intersecting with Hwy 243 at about noon. We aired back up and spent about 20 minutes having lunch before hitting the highway and heading home.
