Anybody have any more recommendations on tablets.  I'm kind of liking this jeepers setup:  its a Galaxy tab 4 with bluetooth mouse.

I use a bluetooth unit to supplement the GPS on my phone or tablet as it keeps the battery on the phone from draining quickly. This is the unit I use to log data on my autocross car, it has a 10Hz update rate which is good for better resolution at speed. Most all tablets and phones use a 1Hz update rate for the GPS.

I ended up getting a Galaxy Tab A 8" (Costco was blowing them out) and installing backcountry navigator.  I'm cheap so I'm piecing together a mounting system using used RAM parts off eBay.
