Rubicon Trail - Sept. 23-25, 2016
« on: June 08, 2016, 07:14:48 PM »

3 days on the Rubicon Trail.    Sept.  23, 24 and 25,  2016  Depending on how many vehicles attend it may not take 3 days.   Back in the old days I have done it in 1 day.

Fixed the title, it was too generic.  also may want to post up minimum requirements for this run.

Hey Ed,

Glad to see that you found this group.  It was really great to see you at GoneMoab and if I can schedule the time I may try to get to the Rubicon one more time with you guys.    I would suggest though that you provide them with minimum requirements for the rigs, i.e. lockers, winch, sliders, skids, spare tire(s), recovery equipment, etc.

Just to add (And all can take this with a grain of salt)   I wrote a little article about preparedness for the GoneMoab event.   Anybody that intends to do the Rubicon Trail might want to review this and see if there is anything you might want to take along.

Thanks Ed for thinking of your fellow four wheelers.

As much as I want to say I can go I'm just not able to until early spring/summer of 2017. I'd love to get out there this summer but I have already committed to another big trip in July and have the time away from work set up. If you are game, the Dusy Ershim is also on my radar but would also have to be spring/summer 2017.
