Big Bear Memorial Run
« on: July 21, 2016, 02:02:47 PM »
I got this from Greg and thought I would pass it along to all of you in case anyone wishes to attend:

Hello Adopt-a-Trail Family.

As some of you know, after a long and fulfilling life, Ted Kalil passed away recently.Ted Kalil was a tremendous inspiration to all the folks that had the pleasure of knowing 'Ted".  With 26 years of working with our Adopt-a-Trail Program, Ted provided his leadership skills in a variety of settings and faced incredible outdoor challenges.  Regardless of bad weather or extreme road conditions, Ted was always eagerly engaged and always with a smile on his face!   Ted really helped to make our Adopt-a-Trail Program 'shine' as the best in the nation!!

We'll be putting together a forest gathering in honor of Ted.  A forest 4x4 run and a late lunch afterwards. This gathering will take place the second weekend in August in Big Bear. So, if you're interested in joining our group to honor Ted, please let me know.

Thank you,

Greg.

I'd be honored to participate.  My work has me returning on August 14 or 18, not sure yet.  If I'm home, I'll be there.
