Reading the description of the cleaner from the manufacturer's web site I would have never guessed that this could also have a chance to clean that yellow paint rubbed on my bumper:
"CLEAR VIEW AIRCRAFT GLASS AND PLASTIC CLEANER - AVL ClearView glass and plastic cleaner is safe on all plastics and glass - it contains no ammonia. This foaming cleaner leaves a shiny finish with no residue. It easily removes bugs and grime from windshields and all surfaces. 15 oz."
Just when I hear that it contains no ammonia, it scares me: environmentally safe, but not effective! We have seen that in so many cases... One of the latest ones is the removal of the phosphates from the dishwasher detergent making the dishes horrible!
The cleaner may be purchased on the net with mastercard, but a friend's recommendation regarding what cleaner to use is priceless.
thanks man, see you saturday!
PS After reading the MSDS I am still confused how this cleaner will work: it has rubbing alcohol 20%, some other kind of alcohol (bla bla ethanol) 20% and liquefied petroleum gas 20% and of course no ammonia. Guess the secret must be in the mixture, ooh, those alchemists...
