A Thanksgiving on the way to Vegas
« on: November 27, 2011, 09:41:24 PM »
We headed to Vegas for the weekend.  We don't gamble so some easy dirt trails and geocaching were the plan, oh and some good food.

Near Nipton

The is cache is dedicated to Major Douglas A. Zembiec, United
States Marine Corps.

Petroglyphs

Dry waterfall.

This isn't Santa's Workshop.  This place smells like mushrooms and everyone looks like they want to hurt me.

Max!  You are a geocacher too?!?  Awesome!  My cacher name:  GeoGhostX

We were geocaching in Moab (pics to come soon) over the Thanksgiving holiday too, and on the way home we grabbed 39!  Cool!

Here is a quick pick of my son Alex (Zander87) grabbing the cache Fun N Things on the Fins N Things trail in Moab:

Yep I'm a cacher.  I just saw your post on cache photos....I'll post some from Vegas this weekend.

I'm: TheDeviousMaxPower in the caching world.  It's been fun and the reason I got the xterra.  Found it more fun to do the off road caches than the urban "lamp post" caches.    Plus it's been a way to find some really interesting trails and locations to explore.
