What do you get when you put 5 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's, Rancho RS5000 Shocks, Rancho Steering Stabilizer, Smittybilt 54" trail jack mounted on roof-rails, custom-made Gobi ladder, 4 Hella Roof lights, roof- mounted reverse lights, and a larger tire compressor/inflator?

Here are a few more I missed showing the newest updated X...

Here is a used Jerry can I recently aquired along with some tire deflators, future exhaust project, and custom Gobi Ladder, some of my welding stuff...
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Four new Denso OE Oxygen sensors!
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

New Smittybilt 54" Trail jack (painted Firetruck Red by me) and mounted on 3 custom roof rail mounts.  The 2" U-bolts kept sliding so I used Super 33 black electrical tape to give'em something more to grab on, drilled a hole, welded a nut to it and used two eyebolts to secure along with a bike chain for theft.

New roof-mounted reversing lights
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

New ported and polished pass. side exhaust manifold (that cheap China steel sucks to port, VERY rough castings on the inside) along with some of my porting tools

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Bought two more Hella lights for a total of four so I don't look like Mickey Mouse ears.

Irwin... I may have a solution for your sliding 2" U bolts and help it protect it from the elements and provide some gripping power.
A trick I learned from XOC was to use some vacuum hosing to wrap the U-bolt all the way up to the beginning of the screw threads. You can certainly apply some WD-40 to "lube" things up and it should slide right in...  :o
From there, a locking nut should seal the deal.  :o

I will try to post some pics... something I've been promising the board since I joined.  :D
Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst!

Thanks anyways.  The black tape isn't very obvious at all and after driving with the jack up there, none of the brackets have moved so I guess it's holding.  I'll leave it up there and see how it does on the trail at the Mojave Xcursion.

Also 4WheelParts screwed up my order and didn't have the Rancho steering stabilizer, only the bracket kit so I ended up getting the Pro-Comp equivalent.  After installing them, I do notice a slight improvement in the steering.  It's not so sensitive and actually feels stronger.  Again, we'll see how it handles at the Mojave Xcursion.
