New San Diego, Over from Thenewx.org
« on: January 05, 2013, 07:56:36 AM »
Hello southern California friends!

Just posting over here because a few already suggested it on thenewx.org site.  I finally became a member after deciding to get some modifications on my x after 7 years of ownership.  The stock offroad just doesnt do what I want to do anymore.

Will be looking in the very near future for some help and guidance on getting some items installed.

Items im scheduling to buy right now

TJM Extended Travel Coilover
NISSTEC UCA
Dakar Leaf Pack
TJM Rear Gold Series
Shims
Front and rear extended brake lines
New UBOLT kit for the leafs.

Anyone know anything else that I will need for this setup to start my modding off please let me know!  Especially if anyone has done any of this and is willing to help.  I can have beer, bbq, and any meat you want ready to go!

Welcome from Pasadena. To many damn San Diego-nians around here. Nice list of suspension goodies you have going. Your welcome to my place if you want a hand.

Welcome.  We always suggest that you start by reading the Xcursions Guidelines.  It takes time and money for that wish list to come true.  In the meantine, get the basic emergency supplies and trail gear so you can conthnue to attend the traik runs with us.  Read some of the recent threads from other newbies over what mods to get first.  I always suggest a Tsumami MF-1050 trail compressor ($60) sold at Pep Boys so you can air up your tires AFTER a trail run.  Then upgrade the tires  for better traction.  All terrain tires are a good, ecnomic start.

Welcome to the club! I live in San Pedro, but wheel a lot up in Big Bear.
