« on: August 12, 2013, 06:29:22 PM »
Hey guys, just wanted to throw this out there.

This week is the shower and tonight's suppose to be the peak night

Who would be interested on going up Santiago peak, or least as high as we can go, to see the shower?

Tonight, meet at cooks corner.. Say 8?

Call or text 714-931-4783

Short notice I know but I'm like that

Awe man it was fun.. There were a couple clear ones across the sky and the drive up is even cooler in the dark. Also there was either an FJ or hummer that's was covered in LEDs  and lit up the mountain..
But ended with my jeep being towed home... :-\

Other than that great night.. Should plan another.. Anyone know when the next shower or comet is coming by our side of the sky?

There are several but the Perseids (the one we just saw) is the most reliable. The next most reliable one will probably be the Leonids in mid November.
