Thank you to everyone who showed up today. We had a nice time hiking and exploring in Blair Valley, Anza Borrego Desert State Park. The weather was perfect for hiking. Besides Heather and myself, it was Dan (who drove 4 hours to get there); Paul, Noon & Trixie the Wonderdog, along with Jeff, Don & Denise, Lance and his son Erik, and Mitch and the boys.
We started out with Paul playing in a mud puddle.

First stop was the hiking trail to the top of Ghost Mountain, to the remains of the Marshal South home site. The views from the trail up are great.

Even though Dan was fully clothed Mitch still had quite a reaction. Or maybe he's auditioning for an opera.
