Ocotillo Wells 03/08-09/14
« on: March 02, 2014, 10:40:51 PM »
Extremely informal run into Ocotillo Wells Sat/Sun if anyone is interested post up and you would be more than welcome to come along. Probably going to be Fish Creek wash and Pumpkin Patch maybe a Calcite mine run? Still a lot up in the air, my buddies need a guys trip out. One thing can be guaranteed is there will be good food and cold beer next to a fire on Sat night. Might even poke around where TDS was to pick up a bunch of gear those guys dropped around their campsites.         ;D

Going down again into Anza on the 15th to maybe check out some of the washes to the N/E. staying for an overnight then Coyote Canyon on the 16th. I want to get in as much as I can before the weather starts getting too hot down there to camp out.

Aw c'mon man I thought that rig of yours was outfitted to produce it's own power and human life sustainment? Now all you need to do is get it to produce beer..... The riddle of life I suppose?

Well it has a couple broken little hoofies right now so I suppose self sustainment is tops on its list right now.   And beer?  Could probably turn it into a big vat and nobody would notice  :P

Careful with the "OLD GUYS" and driving references...You could be next to get a DMV Driver Re-Eval and have to fight for your license to drive :)

Ya know I got ripped off last jar of Ovaltine we got here there wasn't any secret decoder ring in it. There wasn't anything but Ovaltine in it it, I got ripped off......

All my buddies bailed out on me for Ocotillo, I kept getting high wind alerts so I didn't want to go and camp alone. Too bad I didn't know you were going to be there I would have liked to of met up.
