I have a 15 year old or so yakima bike rack which mounts to hitch receiver. Does anyone know if that will fit a rear tire mount w hitch receiver bumper on my 2015 Xterra?

If you mean rear tire carrier bumper, and a hitch mounted bike rack (2" assuming), the answer is a conditional "yes."

You will need to go to Amazon dot you know the rest, or visit a RV supply store and pick up one of these:

You still won't be able to swing out the tire carrier to open your hatch, but it will give you the clearance necessary for the bike carrier.

yep, hitch extension, for less movement, try to find an extension that has a tensioning device like most hitch mounted bike carriers do. i have this one and it works pretty well to eliminate carrier wobble.
