Keep in mind the review of the sites from fishpoet are many many seasons old now... however most of the yellow post sites are generally accessible by car on a graded dirt road.

If you look on Google and YouTube, you can find recent videos of the fire roads that lead to most of the YP sites. That being said, I tweaked the axles on our travel trailer while taking it (dragging it?) to YP31. Definitely do your research and have contingency plans. Always bring a decent tool kit and some duct tape, just in case. Every time we go out, I make a list of the gear I should have brought so I'm more prepared next trip.
