Interesting Suspension Mod
« on: August 10, 2016, 09:29:19 AM »
While at the junkyards, I found a suspension mod I thought I would share.  Looks like we have been doing it wrong all along.

Oh, helper springs. I've seen a couple of people on TNX that have done that.

Those are usually found on older vehicles with saggy springs.  They're intended to increase load capacity but usually help more in frame cracking.  The new softer version is the airbag or air shock.
Be careful when you follow the masses..... sometimes the "M" is silent.

I would venture to say that maybe that person did it wrong, they did end up in the junkyard after all.

This guy probably wore a belt with his suspenders too.
