Happy 4th everyone.

I don't remember if I've posted this before, so here goes.  This was July 4, 2012 in San Diego, when there was a "technical malfunction" and all three barges in San Diego Bay, loaded with enough pyrotechnics for what should have been a 20-minute show, simultaneously completely detonated about one minute prior to the scheduled start. I was lucky enough to be up on the edge of Balboa Park with my camera pointed in the general direction of where I expected the fireworks to be, and got one shot off.  After that, it was nothing but smoke.
