Hey guys/gals,

Me and the fam decided to finally do some real camping, so we attended DR2018.

We signed up kinda late into the registration via random donation from one of the heads over at AA. Since this was my family's first offical BLM camping, it was abit intimidating. With the short time we had, we got pretty prepare fairly quickly. Only thing we underestimated was how bad/fast the Mr.Heater buddy heater drains the green propanes. 3 tanks for the night, HOLY COW!!!! it was definitely a cold night upper 30s to low 40s. Yep heard right, me n the fam only spent 1 night which was unfortunately but hey, we were out there having fun. It was welcoming to see a familiar face , Jordan <3.  It was an honor to meet Eric & Toni. Same goes to the other gentleman that I completely forgot his name ( sorry dude!!)

Overall, a great 1 night camp trip. Learned alot and interacted with so many people. It was my paradise.

SOME PICS!!!

That has to be a first, someone remembered me but didn't remember Steve :D

It was great seeing you guys out there even if it was only for one night.  Can't wait for the next trip.

Hey Edwin, thanks for posting up a report and pics!
What, the 'bachelors'  didn't bring cameras?  Way to go family man, you covered for the Knuckle Heads.

Nice to meet you, Edwin.
If we're ever camping together again, I typically carry a 10# propane tank strapped to my trasharoo or attached to my skottle.
You guys get cold again, just grab it and return it in the morning.  That thing lasts forever. I think the last time I filled it was in 2016.

Hope to see you on another trip sometime soon.

Awesome that you made it out!  I concur with Steve, get the hose adapter.  I carry a 20lb tank for my Mr. Buddy for longer trips.  It was crazy windy that weekend, we were camped out in OW.  We meant to come over and visit everyone, but things just got in the way.  See you on the next Xcursion!

Tip has been considered. 12' adapter hose has been ordered. Will be ordering a 12lb slim aluminum propane tank soon!
