Topic: On the trail again :-)

Good morning all  After replacing both lower control arms, two cats and O2 sensors, new Deaver spring pack, shocks and brakes we're back on the trail    Just ran the rocky hill of doom on Sat.  A Land Cruiser almost rolled trying to go around the big hole/rock ledge going up.  His buddy wasn't so lucky and rolled his Taco on the same section coming down.  The 3rd water crossing was halfway up the doors.  Camped in Sheep Cyn.  Hiked up to the 30ft waterfall and played with the waterfall frogs!!! The flowers are nice but it looks like another week or two and there will be full bloom on the upper elevations.  Looking forward to doing a run with you all - even Mitch!!!  But please NO CATTLE GUARDS  On second thought - my copilot likes changing seats so she can wheel over the cattle guards if we encounter any

It was pretty nice out in Anza Borrego on Sunday when I was there, but the wind really kicked up in the late afternoon.  How was it Saturday night.  Any pictures of the Rocky Hill of Doom or the water crossing?   We checked out Blow Sand Canyon and the Goat Trail (among other places) on Sunday. It was great.

Sat night was perfect.  We were prepared for cold but it was nice all night.  Great stars.  Sunday afternoon the wind was strong.  Some gear almost blew out coming up S22.  We saw you were talking about being out there but thought you had cancelled so we didn't bother looking for you.  Had a good burger and beers while watching the end of the masters at the bar in Borrego.  We took some pictures with Shannon's camera but I have to load the software.  If I can figure it out  I'll post em up.
