Just thought I'd post some pics of some of my favorite places to wheel.  Most of this is in the Tahoe area on the Nevada side of the Sierras.  Before I got my X.

I'm hiding behind a stone 'foxhole' that i found somewhere way off-trail in the middle of nowhere.  There were about 6 of them, some were pretty tall and took a bit of time to build.  I'm thinking it must have been a boyscout troop playing guns or something, it was pretty strange because it was about 1-2000 yards off trail and totally hidden.  There were definately 2 'bases' though.

I found this about 4,000 yards away from the nearest trail and it was totally hidden in a thicket.  I don't really get it.

But at least I know who owns it and know there aren't some damn commies hiding in the hills.

Me going fast around a corner - what you do not see is the steep hill I'm trying to get a running start on - Tacoma failed many attempts but I know the x will make it.

Gotta love the views - this was on the way into Indian Valley.  Took a difficult no-trail hike to get up to that vantage point.

Here is some more off-trail hiking along a gorge following a stream.  It doesn't look as steep as it is.

I used to live in Carson City and there were wild horses everywhere, same with Reno area.  That last pic is AWESOME.  I miss that area, sadly it's not the way I remember it growing up.
