how did the splines look on that old halfshaft?
Well, let's just say shiny and not so sharp. Scrap one PRG extended half axle. I think I damaged the internals of the diff, as the inner CV has significant play.
I ran around the neighborhood and found a dirt lot, put it into 4 HI and LO, and took it up a hill. Heard a slight clicking noise, I think coming from the diff. Who knows...I have a back up diff in the garage worst case scenario.
