Will do...I know we meant to get together when I had the condo in Escotown and never did.  I will PM you my info, and next time we head out give you a shout.  Daphne and I kinda do these impromptu "mega-geocache" runs, so we see a lot but log a lot too.  Unfortunately the desert season is pretty much done, as it was easily 102* on Saturday.  Sunday was a little better, but it was very windy late in the afternoon.

Even with it being hot, it was a great time.

I need some advice SCCX peeps -

My transmission is slipping and hard shifting from first to second gear under power, and then hard shifting from second to first on deceleration.

It has 204,xxx miles on it, and was drain and filled with new S Matic fluid about a year ago, all 12 quarts.  Suffered from SMOD about 100 K ago.

I'm wondering if it is time to replace/repair this bad boy...OR?

Please discuss and give your recommendations.  Thanks in advance.  :)

John,
Have you looked into the cost of a rebuilt transmission?  I have heard some great things about them from the right shop, not AAMCO.   Used tranny's  look ridiculous in price.

I should shave my legs?

Unfortunately...a new PRO4X costs a little more than a rebuilt trans...but thanks Danny. :)

Thanks Terry, any recommendations on transmission shops for a rebuild?

I wonder if your buddies at ORW could give you some references in your neck of the woods.

Wow looks like you have a plethora shops that claim to be the best.   ;D
