Well, "officially" sold the GhostX last night.
A bit of mixed emotions for sure, but excited about the new project (Taco) and all that lies ahead. The Xterra is finding an excellent new home, and its owner will surely use it as a platform for research and development to hopefully help others in the Nissan world.
The last six years have been both educational and inspirational. I loved the Xterra and all that it meant to me...the places we traveled, but most importantly, the friends we made.
I also completed the relationship tri-fecta in the Ghost...divorced, single, and married!! All in one vehicle...100,000 miles!!
For what it all truly means to me though...the most important part...is the friends I have made, and will keep.
Off-roading, camping, enjoying and exploring the outdoors...to me it is not about a brand, or a nameplate...or screen name that which defines us.
It is the shared experiences and laughter echoing over a campfire. The wrenching and smiles after a completed mod project...and cupcakes!
Daphne and I look forward to many more memories with everyone here in this non-club of a website that just happens to have an Xterra bias.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at The Mojave Road Xcursion and for many more to come...
