It's going to get harder and harder for the purple banditos to pull off their activities.

Danny, please don't egg him on. The last thing we need is an out control purple bandito running around here.
I love it when a plan comes together

Well I guess I should check in and report on the old Money Pit today.

Yesterday I pulled my rear wheels to check my parking brake shoes and see if I can figure out my X's rakish lean to the drivers side.   So what did I find?   A broken spring!!!!   So I guess it is off to the leaf spring store to see what I can come up with to create a stronger combination than I currently have.   Actually I'm thinking of just putting the OEM springs back in complete with the straight fourth spring.   With this Spring over Axle setup I don't need lift but do need strength to prevent spring wrap.

Ok so today I roll to the gas station cause my low fuel indicator lamp is on.   Fill er up.   As I'm leaving the gas station...    Hm my low fuel indicator lamp is still on and my fuel gauge reads empty.   I'm guessing that is the Fuel sending unit.    It is throwing no codes.

Terry...you should call Chris Meisner at Nisstec Lifts about a set of Alcans.

Also, there is an FSU write up on TNX, just plug FSU into the search area.

Hang in there buddy...still cheaper than a Heep!!

Contact North County Spring in Escondido. About 800 bucks for the set, but built on site to your specs with no wait time....

Is that Installed or Cash and Carry? Do you know?  $800 installed wouldn't be a bad price if it is done with no wait time..

Correct you are.   Actually because of logistics I ran down to Deaver in Santa Ana.   What a cool knowledgable group they are.   And I placed an order for two leaf packs.

And it comes to pass that AOE strikes again.  It seems that the rear end was a touch high or something, so "someone" removed a leaf from both leaf packs....    Voila..     Ultra spring wrap and consequent spring break.  And god knows what else is lurking until I get this fixed...

BTW,  did some purple gremlin sneak in and fix my FSU?   ;D   When I drove my X down to Deaver today my fuel gauge worked perfectly...   Hmm.    Does that mean anything to anybody?   I threw a code and all last night too.
