ok ok  Had a little problem on Poison Spider Mesa:

In this case I grenaded(As in pieces laying on the ground) the inner CV joint on the driver's side front half shaft.

My thanks go to:
Danny Grooters - He made sure to document the incident and that I left no parts behind  ;D

The Guys from NISSTEC who convinced me that we had to swap out the half shaft on the trail.   Which we did in approximately 30 minutes(We spent more time fixing the ABS cable than switching the half shaft.   It is really neat when you break the CV joint no little stub to get out)

Yup number 3.   But this was different.   I grenaded(as in blew parts through the rubber boot) the inner CV joint.   Hey the splines were fine.   Which made the fix pretty easy.  Just pop out the old half shaft already in two pieces and install the new one...

I'm sensing a trend in locked R180's...weak link detected.

And it sure isn't the R180.  I've been talking to Steevo about getting half shafts fabricated with much stronger cv joints.   The locked R180 is definitely holding up to the challenge
