Topic: Fontana Nissan Meet ~ May 6th, 2012

For the caravan meet BEFORE the actual meet and greet, we can shoot for 8:30am by Amer icas tires, then At 9am, caravan over to Fontana Nissan for the actual event which is the Nissam Owmers Meet.  The SCCX meet and greet is simply taking place at that event.  I want to make sure we are all clear on that.
As for the Cleghorn run, yes,. of course the club Frontier guys can join us.  The idea is to invite anybody.  The more, the merrier!  We just need to make sure everyone reads the XCURSION GUIDELINES and COMMUNICATION section before attending an actual run, so everyone brings the minimum suggested gear for a safe and pleasant trip.

I am shipping the banner and stickers TODAY (holy crap FedEx is expensive!, ) so everyone that requested stickers will have them for Sunday.

Sure, all makes and models welcomed with open arms!

Reminder to all:  first part of run is an easy fire trail with no obstacles, just great mtn. top scenery.  This one ends where Cleghorn Road starts.  This one I'm going to rate 4-5 on a scale of 1 to 10.  High clearance highly recommended and do-able in 2WD.

Expect to do @ 3 hrs. (+/- 30 mins.) for Cleghorn Road.

Will be good with stock suspension on Cleghorn? I have an SE 4x4 with some Toyo Open Country MT's. No running boards, skids, or rock sliders quite yet..

Yes , tiat should make it.  You might struggle a bit going up but you should be fine.

I'm sorry, but I am unable to attend the meet and great Sunday morning.   Ofcourse, work trumps all the best made plans.   But if I can get done early enough,  I would like to try to catch up with you follks either at Fontana Nissan or Cleghorn.    What CB channel might you be monitoring?
