Orange X might be dead!!!
« on: July 02, 2012, 08:28:55 PM »
Some broad hit it today while it was parked in front of the house. She was messing with her damn dog in the back and creamed going way to fast. I could of choked her but kept my cool and did the right thing..Had it towed to Mossy collision center in Escondido and tomorrow the insurance will decide if it's a total loss.http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p622/totkid760/DSC_0488_2.jpg

WOW.  They say these things come in threes.  So I was first almost 2 months ago and now 2nd and 3rd today.  So NO MORE PEOPLE!  I always said I was a trend setter.  My truck stated out as $5K to fix and has now crept over $10K for a similar accident but my driver was going to opposite direction of my parked X.

At least Farmers is a big company....hopefully they will take care of you.  My ins. co is AAA and they have taken care of me except for a rental car since I don't have that coverage.....yet.

This isn't Santa's Workshop.  This place smells like mushrooms and everyone looks like they want to hurt me.

Wow. Glad to hear you're okay. From one of those pictures it looks like she drove quite a ways after the impact. Like maybe 3 houses before deciding it might be a good idea to stop - or was there that much speed?

That sucks. :-[

From the pictures, it looks like you may have lucked out.  Minimal body damage.  Remount the springs and new axel, you may be back in business.  Maybe you can negotiate a Dana 44 back there.
Be careful when you follow the masses..... sometimes the "M" is silent.

Holy cow... Lets not do any more of these. Thankfully with all of these accidents no one has been hurt.

They are saying that the frame, rear axle, and drive shaft might be bent but they wont know till they get it apart.. Keeping my fingers crossed.
