A few weeks ago I did a guys trip with some friends down to Baja.  The first day we drove from San Diego down to my friends house in Bahia De Los Angeles (LA Bay).  I love this drive.  It's about 8 hours from San Diego and after about half way it just turns to incredible desert.

The next morning we left for San Francisquito.  It's only about 85 miles but takes 4 hours due to the rough road.  It doesn't look so bad but the Yak rack on my friends truck rattled so much the bolts broke.

Some of you may remember how I broke down a couple years ago and walked 8 km until I was rescued by a rancher.  I visited him on this trip to say thanks.  His ranch is awesome.

It was an awesome trip that didn't involve much more than sitting on the beach and hanging out with friends.

Dude!!! I leave to go down to BOLA on the 20th of this month. We do a guys trip down there every July to fish. We stay at Costa Del Sol and fish the pangas.. This is my 3rd year going down there..Did you ever go down there when the whole town was ran on a generator? It was lights out at 10 pm for the whole town.

This is my 7th year going down there..Did you ever go down there when the whole town was ran on a generator? It was lights out at 10 pm for the whole town.

No, the town being on generator is before my time but I have heard about it.

Whale sharks were just appearing down there the day I left.  Unfort. didn't get a chance to get out on the water that day. I've considered going back down though for a long weekend just to snorkel with them.

We have always welcomed people to come with us. Next year if you can maybe get a crew togather you guys can roll with us. Warning: we fish hard and play harder:::but we are not stupid;))) we all have to go to work when we get home... Our trip runs about 500$ per person for 4 days. Everything included. Gas, fishing, hotel, food, and most important liquor/beer, tips and all... Good times good people... Think about it.. All of you here on sccx is welcome..

Thanks for the invite.  Price isn't too bad considering panga's aren't that cheap.  I'm not much of a fisherman.  I get too sea sick.

Dramamine at your local drug store will cure that.. When your hooked in to a 30lb yellow tail drop after drop you wont have time to be sea sick

We can plan it for next July if you guys want. I have phone numbers to make reservations and even know the hotel owners that will reserve our rooms and boats. Victoria the hotel owner even cooks the fish we catch for dinner. Thats what you see in my pics.

Sounds good Ray. Try to get a couple people to go with you (this is a guys trip ) and we will car pool down and have a blast..I bring my dad who is 62 and couple guys from work. Every year we have new people. The more people the cheaper it gets.
