Looks like fun.  I think I keep seeing one of your trucks in the Sears parking lot at UTC.

So I'm trying to figure out how difficult Holcomb Creek is.  The photos OZ posted made me think I don't want to go there but these photos don't look so bad.  So how is it really?  Can an Advanced PRG, full skids and sliders make it or do I need more?

According to Marc there are very challenging "gate keepers" on both ends that set the tone.  Hopefully he will chime in with more details Max.

Ok, Matt and I are both Titan Swapped, rear locked, skids, sliders, bumpers and 4+" of lift. I did not photograph any of the more critical sections because it was just us..  I was in front. The 1st obstical was challenging (more challenging than before or how it stands now, i won't elaborate but note the jeeps and hard hats in pic #1)    I pretty much flowed through the rest of the trail with no spot but did exit my vehicle twice to make sure I was not going to roll. At points it was tippy.  I laid on my sliders a couple of times pitching me into position.. I have a high tolerance for this behavior sooooo.....

PRG advanced only, I dunno..  bring a winch, and high-lift, just try the first section "gate Keeper" if you are good mentally and mechanically the rest should be ok..  no guarantees..

Again, I did not photo the more critical rock sections, only the more relaxed periods..  the one pic poised on the rock I pulled the e-brake, put her in park and snapped a couple o photos..  If you combined the two thread photos you get a great idea of the trail..  if you make it,  very fun!

then again I ran this last time in my grandma's '76 Pointiac grand lemans, bald tires with no probs...

Hey Marc
Thanks for the pics and the report.  I was thinking exactly the same thing as Max (which is scary in itself). :P

Thread Jack Alert:     It's time to do a north county brewery crawl.
