CB parts question
« on: August 16, 2012, 06:59:00 AM »
So does anyone know a place in the Oceanside San Marcos area that sells firestik stuff. I'm looking to get a mounting kit for that will work with my firering cable and if there is a place local I rather go there and pick one up instead of buying online and wait for it to be shipped. It would just be nice to finally put it all in and get it tuned.

Good call Chad.

If that doesnt' work, look at Xoskel's homepage Jason, he has a great selection of the Firestik brand products.  I have had one for over a year now and really pleased.  Got the no ground plane tunable tip, 3' long on a 3" spring.  Rear bumper mounted.

Thanks guys. I'll check out them out Friday if I get some time when I'm in town. And if they don't got it I'll get with him for it.

Jason:

I called ORW in Escondido, Ken Shackle (yeah, that's his real name) is holding a 36" Firestik for you, it has your name (Jason/Deadpilot) on it.  Antenna is $17.99 and the mount is around $7.

Their phone number/address in case you want to call is:  2645 Auto Park Way, Escondido

Thanks for all the help John. Ken was super cool and helped figure what mount would work best for me. So today I'm gonna go install it all then I gotta get it tuned. I may just run back down there and have them do it for me.
