Add me to the list, I will get off work on friday at 4pm or 1130 pm. I will head down as soon as I get off about a 5 hour drive so I should roll in at 6am. Any suggestions? Should I just roll into a campsite that early or go park at one of the hotels listed.

Put me in the novice/moderate group.

Welcome...there is a camping thread here as well, post over there for info. on the camping arrangements.

Why don't you try to catch a few zzz's where ever you land for lodging, and head to the meet spot at 8am to hook up with everyone.

You are added to the green trails, and looking forward to meeting you.  Read through the Xcursion requirements also listed here, and make sure you have a CB installed so you don't miss anything on the trail.

Everyone is on their own, tons of campsites/motels/cabin rentals.  Coordinate solo or in groups...you make the call.

Vons Shopping Center for all trails.

8:00am meet spot, or 9:00am at trail head.

So, PM a friend, get to know someone on the board and buddy up with your Adventure Pass purchase and save $13.00!!

This is also a great way to fund the Forestry Service's efforts to provide maintenance and upgrades to the wilderness areas we all enjoy.
