The 2013 goneMOAB committee is pleased to officially announce goneMoab 2013!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 19th through Friday, May 24th, 2013.

goneMOAB is a yearly wheeling event and gathering of Nissans and Nissan enthusiasts in Moab, Utah. The goneMOAB event and trail offerings are tailored to fit almost everyone: individuals, families, experienced wheelers, and those that may be a little newer to offroading. We even welcome non-Nissan drivers! If you have attended this event in years past, you are no doubt already making plans for this must attend event!

The event begins each year with a Meet and Greet that kicks off the week's events and expectations. Please be sure to bring your driver's license, a copy of current insurance, and a positive attitude to be ready for a fun-filled, exciting week. We close off the week with a Raffle night and a chance to meet some of our great sponsors. Each day there is an offering of trails from the green "adventurous" trails working their way up in difficulty to the "difficult" red trails and the "extreme" black trails. The green "adventurous" trails are ideal for our "stock" attendees, while still offering more challenge than a dirt road. There will be plenty of time later for more on trail descriptions and ratings. Drumroll please...the part everyone is always waiting for...

Registration will begin around January 1st at which time you will be able to select your trails. Some trails fill up quickly so it is best to register early.

MOAB isn't a thing...as much as it is an event....a feeling.....some say, an experience....


(it's a big to-do in Utah in May where everyone wheels the crap out of their rigs in a beautiful Utah setting)

Hehehe! Loco, I know what MOAB is!!! Let do the Camping thing again there! Hopefully have the Tent Trailer in time! Maybe the Russians will join us too! They are a hoot!

I think I'm going, sounds like a blast.  I've already started looking into RV rentals. Anybody know of any good campground near the site?

I'm not sure about campgrounds, I know they are there though.  Why not a Condo?  Get enough people, and the split cost of the condo would greatly reduced.  Plus the use of a hot shower, pool, jaccuzi, bbq grill, kitchen and garage in case you need to work on your rig is pretty nice to have while out there.

There is a KOA campground like 5 minutes away. If all you're looking for a is a place to park your rig, pitch a tent and have a hot shower then thats your place.
Oh, they even have wifi!

Tim exactly what Nick said.   And it sounds like we are going to have enough Cali people going that we can fill up a number of condos.  

BTW, the condos can be very family friendly if you want to be by yourself or not to.  Also by the time you rent an RV, pay to park it(I think the going rate at Canyonland campground in that time period is around $50/night for an RV with full hookups) AND buy GAS at about 3 MPG.  The condos become very cost effective, especially if you are sharing with a few other people.
