 You mean to tell me there is cabin filters? Each time I turn on the air and it smells like desert I thought was a built in Nissan feature?

not so sure about 1st gen's, but my 2nd gen needed it sooooo bad

there is still a faint musky smell, but not nearly as bad as it once was...

I really need to change those lol
And first gens do have them, and if you don't already have then you just need to cut the plastic and insert the filter.

I bought cabin filters on Toro's suggestion before the SCCX Mojave Road last April.  They're still sitting on the counter in my apartment.

And you just got back from doing the Mojave?   I will say one thing, you will be AMAZED what comes out from behind your glove box.   Also take a look at your air cleaner.   UGH!!!!!  If it is an exposed air cleaner like K&N, get the little sleeve (Also a Toro suggestion) that goes over the AC which heads off a lot of the dust before it even gets to the oiled AC
