Replaced secondary timing chains and tensioners.  Primary guides/tensioners as well, though they don't look like they needed it.  Also replaced the water pump while I was in there.  I'm in the process of buttoning everything back up now, also need to replace the A/C compressor while it's disconnected anyways because it's leaking.

Where is the A/C compressor leaking, not in a hose connector or ports???  One of my hoses vibrated at little loose once and leaked, I just tightened it and put in a can of freon and was good to go.

Nope, from where two pieces of the case come together :(

Got that damn timing cover back on tonight, that was worse than changing out the chains.  Might tackle the compressor tomorrow.

Installed 1.5" spacers Friday night and hit Big Bear on Sunday (Clarks Grade to 2n10). Some fun chunk up on Clarks! I wish we stopped to take pictures on the chunk, but it was kind of toasty. Big thanks to TurboChris for the spacer info!

New to me m226 in 3.69 out of a 2010 manual off road.
She needs a bath and some paint, but all the goodies are there!
(I also have a matching r180 in 3.69)

GREAT question, Jordan!  Funny you should ask....
The truck I got the axle from was the off road model and those had fancy creature comforts that my lowly S model did not.
Semi-impulsively, I snagged the front seats and the leather wrapped steering wheel with radio controls!

The seats are in really good shape, but could benefit from a shampooing.

When you buy a steering wheel from the wrecker, you get the whole steering column!

Seats and wheel are in (thanks Jordan) They're way better than my S stuff.
Quick note, the seat belt sensor wire connectors were different between the 2010 and my 2012.  Jordan did pixie wire magic and made them work.  Something about splicing butts or whatever.

Very cool.  If you figure out how to wire the radio controls, let me know.  I've had my wheel for about a year and a half and had to disconnect the radio wires because the wheel plug is wired differently in the S model. I still don't have a cruise control.

Now all you need is a overloaded Chinese trailer!! In all seriousness that's pretty sweet. I was just looking it up on the web and thought that's one nice welding unit. Are you planning on bringing it on trips or stationary at your house?

This is not really a mobile machine, it requires a 10kw generator and weighs 50lbs itself so not really the most portable.  It's a pure shop welder.  Going to use it to practice tig and squirt some metal on some projects I have been wanting to do.

I kinda got a once in a lifetime deal on this thing, just happened to see a weird ad on Amazon for $600 and took a chance.  60% off retail, I was honestly surprised it showed up, wasn't just a box of bricks and was brand new from Everlast.
