I'll kick this one off.

What have you done for your Rig lately.

Dropped in a new Radiator, un-did the trans bypass and Fab'ed up a couple of brackets for Trans cooler fan. Should be running cool on the rocks.

Broke my motor mounts at Cleghorn, which manage to disengage my intake tube from the back of the maf when I put some torque to it.

Glad the trail side fix wasn't to bad to get you up and running. Sounds like we need to have a MOD day to get that mount replaced ???

You may want to check out the heavy duty motor mounts at ruggedrocks.  Heavy Duty Motor Mounts  I think Bobby B runs them and I have a set that I haven't yet installed.  It will make it a little bit harder for you to break them next time.   ;)

Yeah, Angel was telling and showin his mounts to me at the end of the day.  They seem to be the way to go, but I might have to take Toro up on his offer for a short term solution if the mounts are going to hurt the funds for Big Bear run.  I'm already spending dough on making my sliders for that trip.

You can get the NISMO mounts from a 98 240SX that are a direct bolt on for the 1st Gen X.  Not sure about the 2nd gen.

I fixed and calibrated my cb radio, re-mounted the sml. solar panel that charges the 2nd battery in the trunk and did a Mobil 1 5-30w oil change.

Well being that I'm VERY familiar with that chassis, if what your saying is true, then any of the aftermarket mounts for an s14 will fit.  Which means 95-98 with a ka24de motor.  There are many others than overpriced NISMO.  Glad to know Nissan didn't deviate from their Lego block mentality.  Parts compatibility between chassis.  Thumbs up to you for the info and to Nissan for being smart.

Yeah, I had a mean 1989 240sx drift car with an even meaner KA24E 12v race motor, so we talk the same language.  full port and polish, headers, custom 2.5" carbon fhber exhaust, 18" rims, Tein 12k/8k coilovers, KAAZ 1.5 way LSD, dtc, etc...

Guess that explains why we both have slide in our Usernames.

I have always wondered about Irwin's handle...and this explains it.  Cool that you guys come from the same "roots."

Can't wait to see this in BB Mr. Haynes...a long time coming.  Want to see the axle that we trudged from Moab to Cali installed and operating...good luck with everything.

T-minus 4.5 days...and counting. :)

Back on topic...I put $78.00 of gas in my tank...damn gas prices just jumped $0.15 cents a gallon in 24 hours.  You know who I'll vote for???  The guy that brings gas back to $2.50 a gallon...that's who.  >:(
