Spring compressors spook me, but as much as I'm paying to have someone do them, I should just go out and get one my self.

That was exactly what I meant by Death defying.  I've heard of all kinds of stories about those things coming apart.   BUT when you are 200 miles from home, they seem to be about the only alternative.

I throw a ratchet strap over it when I play with spring compressors. I am super afraid of them too.

Yeah, I tried using a pair of those on my Bils when I broke that snap ring; they didn't fit over the larger 'off road' spring.  I had a few life-threatening moments before I decided that they were not the tool for the job...

Well today I swapped out the stock diff breather for the extended one and ran some new hosing that actually fits around the breather up and into my tail light. Now I don't have a redneck breather extension anymore.

Oh. Is that what the white hose was dangling below your exhaust the other day?

Yeah, it's supposed to be clear.  ;D

And it's not supposed to be dangling, but zip ties took care of that. I did a real half assed job on that one, and my back up seal for it was duct tape lol.

I picked up the extension from a local nissan dealer, makes putting a hose on it way easier, and you get a way tighter seal around it. It's a cheap little mod that's definitely worth it.

Well had to buy a new tire because of a good ole nail through the sidewall, was running my matching spare for a few weeks until a mysterious thing happened.  My wheel (and tire obviously) almost fell off on Ortega Hwy. The damage was 2 studs broken off on the spacer/adapter and a good as scrap metal wheel. the lug nuts decided to come loose and try to kill me, mind you I tuorqe my lugs on a regular.  Just goes to show you to check your stuff and shit happens haha. $120 for spacers, $305 for a new tire, and $90 for labor (mount, balance, and putting the spacers and everything back together) the ruined wheel im using as my spare now.

I have no idea man. It really wasnt the spacers that caused the problem, they were still tight on the axle. The only reason they broke is because of when the wheel lugs loosend up they webt through some serious abuse with the wheel

Danny that is exactly the same thing that happened to me Monday at GoneMoab.    I nearly lost my left front on the way back from that black run.   Lugs loosened up destroyed the wheel and multiple lug bolts on the spacer.

I didn't do my lift yesterday. My front sway bar wouldn't unbolt and i was beginning to strip the bolt so I had to stop. Although I think I may have figured out why it wouldn't even budge. I took the bolt off the UCA and I set whole thing down on my tire, well I think the stress of it not being all connected might've made it harder for me to unbolt my sway bar. I could be wrong though.

Thanks toro for trying to help!
