On my way to work tonight...vibrations and chirping and grinding sounds from the rear axle.

Not good.

4:56 gears and m205 ARB locker are in!!

the spline count was different between the 4:10 gears and the 4:56 gears.
which means I needed a different flange which Steevo included.

Took it to my local mechanic...he's pretty sure there is a failure in the driveshaft.

Going to take it to MIT Driveline in El Cajon for further diagnosis.

Have you ever even changed your drive shaft fluid?

Hey, DEADPILOT.  Was that AAL a single or triple?

It was a double AAL. And it was about 4 years old with a lot of miles and towing miles and weight.

John you still have OEM drive shaft right.    Have you looked and tried to make your u-joints move yet.   They will eventually where out especially on lifted vehicles (angles are more extreme).    I've seen them so bad that the actually come apart and can drop the driveshaft on the ground.

The power of the pen (or in this case, the keyboard):

I was checking out Raingler's website and I really like their stuff, and it dawned on me that my hatch handle got nuked because I was carrying extra shocks in the back of my rig.  Needless to say, my handle got thrashed and I was in need of a new one.

I shoot Raingler an email asking if they make hatch handles and if not, do they know anyone that does.

I get an email from Eddie at Rangler and we exchange ideas and I am the proud owner of the first privately owned Raingler hatch handle -
