I removed my Radflo 2.5s, and I'm taking them to be rebuilt today. In the interim, I threw my stock coilovers back on, just so I can move the Xterra around and out of the garage if I need to...

That stance though..... don't be jealous of my rake.  lol

Rebuild? How long / many miles have you had them on?

Jeff- They're being rebuilt at Radflo. I know it's something that can be done myself or at another shop, but I didn't mind paying the $ to not have to mess with it and for the piece of mind of knowing it was done correctly. It's supposed to be $110 per shock, which basically includes removing the spring, tearing them down, cleaning them up, and recharging them with fresh oil. I thought they were in pretty good shape, and so did Radflo when I dropped them off this morning. But after tearing them down, it turns out both shafts were bent, and that was an extra $75 each. They did say they could reuse the bent ones if I didn't want to spend the extra money, but I'd rather have them done at the same time and not have any problems with them down the road.

TurboChris - I've had them on for about 30,000 or so, and I bought them used from another member here on the forum who put somewhere between 15,000 and 20,000 on them himself. He was pretty hard on them and so was I. Lots of washboard roads over the course of many, many off-road trips! They were starting to ride pretty harsh, and it was very noticeable even just driving around town (potholes, etc). They'll ride like new when I pick them back up tomorrow.

Jayrat - be sure to take photos of this new trend at Overland Expo this weekend! haha  lol

Jayrat, the parts stores will all read engine codes for free as well.  I have that same code, p0448 i believe on my blue X and Dave has it on his yellow X as well.  He already tried the blowout method + extension and it helped for awhile and the code came back.  The last run to the junkyards we both just bought newer complete canisters from newer street only Xterras to just swap the whole thing, $25.
Jeff , what junkyard do you go to ??

Jay: Jeff is right on the free code reading.
Plus you don't have to remove the fender, I've clean/checked mine three times.  I would be happy to help for PBR.

Jeff:  You guys have all the good junk yards down there.   For $25, pick up 2 more for Jay and I next time you're there (if they still got 'em).  I pay cash plus beer.
Also, I'm not sure where Joe is going but I've heard that Radflow rebuilds at there place in Anaheim.
Of all the things I've lost...

Yes, I took them to the radflo shop. It's actually in Fountain Valley, near Costa Mesa. They called me this evening and said they're already done, so I'll go pick them back up tomorrow.

This would't happen if we became Mall Crawlers
We could set up our tents in the Parking lot and roast Marshmallows >:D

We could sit around posting on "some websites" about what is needed to crawl some mall's too...I'm sure plenty of people would be able to chime in with their .02 with a voice of reason..... 8)

D'oh, I digress people just need to get out and wheel.

If you have full overlanding equipment at the mall then you are a Mall Squatter, up one level from a mall crawler.

Jayrat, I have the best luck at "Topatio" pick yourself place down by the border - 32°34'18.4"N 116°59'53.7"W

I just went to the junkyards last month, I probably dont need to return until aug-sept.  I'll put the canisters on my list.

Be sure to clamp down that metal brake line.  Remember what happened to mine?

Really nice job, I'm thinking those 4:56's are going to be very nice to have.

Feel a big difference in the drive?  I need to pull the trigger on gears.
