That's a really great price, I see them for about $1,500-$1,600 on the web. In truth I'm a little jealous right about now..

Got my X out of the shop! What started out as a U1000 / limp home mode condition after having the battery out....turned into a new valve body / TCM.

NICE to be back in my truck!

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Trans work is never cheap.

I think the X should be savagely beaten on the trail as punishment  :D .

Unfortunately, we are just heading into summer BUT weather guy says it will be cool this weekend.

I feel your pain, my X is stranded on a rack too. Eta to get mine back is July 2. So much for long weekend trip (I have Mon/ Tues. off).
Destination unknown but I'm on my way.

Ouch!!! THAT sucks. Likely the last weekend of moderate weather for the next couple months.

Mine was out for a MONTH while I tried to figure out what was up. No Bueno!

So the maintenance for my 1st gen continues. I replaced front brakes, all 4 shocks & readjusted saggy front bumper. Waiting for rear main seals & ATF to take care of the rear main seal leak I been having. At the same time, service my trans & TC. YAY for maintenance parts :l

Chris, good find I want one!

They're out there in eBay land.......I paid $30 and $5 shipping....including the wiring plug and temp sensor....my brother just got one two days ago.same thing but from someone else for $40 shipped. . So they ARE out there. Just make sure it includes the plug and temp sensor.
