I also have a floor jack and a pair of jack stands.  If anyone else has these items, please bring them.
I'd rather be happy than right any day.

you know, I still am in aw at the on board air you built.....nice.....

The diff drop requires two jack stands and one floor jack and I am thankfull for mitch in this case. I just dont know if the stock bolts go though though the dom slugs given with the kits. This is the only thing I can think of?

I am bringing some white grease, WD40 and a small tool set like some sockets and assorted open ends. I know mitch has more stuff but I want everyone to atleast get something done. I Hope everyone sprayed today, with WD40 or liquid wrench. Especially if you have been to SODA Lake.

Also Thanks Frank....

Well, no fires and very little blood.  So the Mod Day of Doom didn't quite live up to it's name.  Thank goodness.  Thanks to Fred, Frank, Chris, Spenser, Bruce and his dad (sorry, I forgot your name) for showing up and making it a fun day.  I learned a lot about doing a diff drop.  Like when you drop the diff make sure your hand is not in the way.
I'd rather be happy than right any day.

I can vouch for the keep the hand out of the way of the dropping diff/ Its funny how you notice cuts and abrasions with some soap and water. Nothing felll off on the way home. Or I havent found out yet...I still could swear the steering is lighter now. I turned lock to lock and no  rim rubbing?

Everyone , thanks for helping me do this mod. It was way more then I thought. I wouldnt have been able to get out of the driveway without everyone helping. From Frank working the levers to spencer improvising  from the crappy directions given. I think the next one is going to be cake now.

I had forgotten why this club was formed. I think we look to far ahead of the carriage so to speak. It was formed for people who are enthusiastic about and love our Nissan Trucks. Both X and Fronty.  Who share thier time and experience with others in a somewhat friendly enviorment. Ok it was friendly except for mitch. He is so negative.....

good job on the slugs. All considering a great price...

Chris, remember to go back and torque down those bolts after one tank of gas, then again after your first 4x4 trip

Going to go do that next weekend. I am also going to do the sway bushing at that time. I also got some silicone for the skid plate bolts. I went to autozone for the bushing since they carry energy. They told me that they cant get them. I found them at a online store free ship.

I was poking around under my X this afternoon and I believe I can install the diff drop kit without dropping the diff.  I am going to try to make time sometime this week to try to get the three bolts in the back cross member out.  If I can do that then I can do the diff drop in less than two hours. ;D
I'd rather be happy than right any day.
