Looking at the forecast, they are calling for rain Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so gates might not be open again, we can go hiking looking for waterfalls though

put me down as tenative for this....I'm hoping my Bils will be back on by the 29th and if it's 2wd friendly I won't have to sweat the sketchy Bils setup...

We'll see...

2wd friendly doesn't mean there isn't air to be caught :)  I guess you could always drive off the side of a mountain like the taco.

but if you got the new snap ring and didnt damage the groove with the new perch, you should be good with those bilsteins until you order some big boy suspenders.

Desert?  The storms don't usually make it out there.

Desert sounds fun you guys.   There is Joshua Tree, Barstow(Calico), out toward the Salton Sea.  All kinds of fun to be had

There is a lot of Anzo Borrego I haven't seen that I would be up for if the OC boys don't mind the drive.

New to the forums. If there is a stock 4x4 friendly run the 29th within 3-4 hours of Los Angeles, count me in! Got an '09 certified pre-owned a few months ago, and he has run well in California City and south of Joshua Tree - definitely down for more ventures.

Truckhaven is awesome...but I wouldn't categorize it as "2WD Friendly."
